Mapping A Sphere
in Max

1) Create a Sphere.

2) Oopen the "Material Editor".

3) Select an unused Material.

4) Open the "Maps" drop down.

5) Check "Diffuse" and the click on "None"

6) This opens the "Map Browser"

Select "Bitmap"

7) This opens a navigation window

Find the image sequence on your hard drive, select the first image in the sequence.

Be sure "Sequence" is checked in the lower half of this screen, ckick "OK".

8) Use these settings to map to your globe:

Click on illustration 8 to enlarge.

9) Drag your new material from the Material Editor onto the sphere object to apply.
